A2 Card Base and Layering Dies offer a versatile solution for cardmaking enthusiasts, whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter. With multiple styles to choose from, these die sets allow you to mix and match inside layering pieces for endless creative possibilities.
Base Die: Each set includes a base die designed specifically for A2 cards, featuring a score line in the middle. This ensures a finished card size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
Layering Dies: Two sets of layering dies are included in each package. These dies are sized 1/4" apart from each other, allowing for precise and perfect layering on your card base.
These layering dies feature either stitch or dot lines.
· The die set creates a finished A2 card measuring 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
· Compatible with any die-cutting machine that is 6" or larger and can cut wafer-thin dies.
· Designed for easy use by both beginners and experienced card makers.

Note: All TMC8 dies are wafer thin etched metal dies with a thickness of .8mm carbon steel. They are tested for the highest quality and will go through most machines. For best success in using, it is strongly recommended you create the “die sandwich” in order to properly process the die. A “die sandwich” is how you build your die/platform components to go through the machine to reach maximum cut quality.
TMC8 recommends:
Acrylic plate, die (blade down), paper, self-healing mat { or 2nd acrylic plate}, shim {if needed}, die platform. In our experience, this formula has worked the best. Machines used: Sizzix Vagabond and Sizzix Switch.
